POP INTO WHITELEYS POP UP STORES
London shopping centre Whiteleys, home to Le Café Anglais, has recently launched a number of pop up stores, including Frost French, Junk Food, Power of Bliss and Wildfox fashion labels. Kelly Osbourne, Jameela Jamil, Remi Nicole and Eliza Doolittle attended the preview evening, which included a special live performance from Alice Dellal's band, Thrush Metal. Open until December 2010, the pop up stores are well worth a visit.

A FRIDGE TOO FAR?
The chef proprietor of Le Cafe Anglais is one of the founding fathers of modern British cooking. Rowley Leigh, known as 'The People's Chef', is also the cookery correspondent for the Financial Times, and we recommend reading these weekly articles, for enjoyment as well as cooking peace of mind. "It defines one’s state of mind, this moment of deciding what to cook: we are all fridge half-full or fridge half-empty types when we search for inspiration."
