Miss Q’s, a new 430 capacity pool bar, diner and live music saloon, is launching in Earls Court, London, in October 2009. Miss Q’s adds a unique contemporary twist to retro ‘Beat’ Americana and is defined by its rock ‘n’ roll interior and heady mix of live music, pool, classic American diner style food and hard liquor.

ROCK ON THE ROCKS AT MISS Q'S

On March 18th Earls Court Rock and Roll venue Miss Q’s will host ‘Rock on the Rocks’, an evening of art and music in conjunction with art consultancy 2R Art.<br />After the success of the previous 2 nights, the third ‘Rock on the Rocks’ marks the launch of a new exhibition of Rock ‘n’ Roll photography by Chris Worden and Nick Dillon. There will also be live music from Rubber Kiss Goodbye (with Tara Ferry, the son of rocker Brian Ferry, on the drums and Peter Perret Jnr on guitar), The Foxes, and 2000 Fast Women, followed by a set from Miss Q’s resident DJ A Boy Like Me.

MISS Q'S LAUNCHES ON EARLS COURT ROAD

Miss Q’s, the latest venture from Nick Valentine and Eddie Bloom, celebrated its official launch with a special weekend of rock ‘n’ roll revelry. The festivities started on Thursday 22nd October with an exclusive night for friends and family, where The King performed live. On Friday 23rd October, the doors opened to the public, as legendary indie icons Gaz and Danny from Supergrass reunited as The Hot Rats to give guests an special live performance. Named after Frank Zappa’s album, The Hot Rats delivered classic covers by bands such as The Kinks, The Cure and The Sex Pistols. The celebrations continued on Saturday 24th October, when Miss Q’s were joined by a host of special guests, including alternative 90s rock band Toploader, the Eastbourne based band who have produced hits including ‘Dancing in the Moonlight’.

Miss Q’s, a new 420 capacity pool bar, diner and live music saloon, launching in Earls Court, London, has appointed Intelligent PR to handle media relations surrounding its launch this October. Miss Q’s adds a unique contemporary twist to retro ‘Beat’ Americana and is defined by its rock ‘n’ roll interior and heady mix of live music, pool, classic American diner style food and hard liquor. The venue is the latest venture from Nick Valentine and represents the first venture for Eddie Bloom, son of Jamie Bloom; former owner of the legendary Rainbow Theatre that played host to Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa and The Clash during its heyday in the 70s.
